James Mckinney

MADISON - James McKinney was born into life on Dec. 18, 1947 in Memphis, Tenn., to Sally Ann McKinney and Arthur Lee. James moved to Chicago, where he later met and married Vera Stokes in March of 1976. Into that union, three daughters were born. James departed life on Dec. 10, 2010 at home with his wife, children and grandchildren by his bedside. He leaves to cherish his memories, his wife Vera McKinney; his three daughters, Vontina, Romela and Jamie; one son, Ar’von McKinney; three brothers, Jesse, Joe (Judy) and Daniel Anderson’s; seven grandchildren, Allen, Jr, Dishai, Al’von, Romone, Alice’za, Tamba and Tiara; one great-granddaughter, Alena; and a host of other family members. Services will be held at the ALL FAITHS FUNERAL CHAPEL, 4058 Lien Rd., Madison, on Friday, Dec. 17, 2010 at 1 P.M. Friends may call at the funeral home on Friday from 11 a.m. until the time of service.
