MADISON James E. Stasney, age 68, passed away at UW Hospital on Saturday, Oct. 24, 2015, surrounded by loved ones. He was born in Wausau, Wis., on Sept. 3, 1947. He was one of five children, Margaret (Rod), Suzy (Kim), Robert (Linda) and David (Michelle). James married Shirley Imhoff on April 4, 1970, and they were married for 45 years. He was employed at Wisconsin Deptartment of Revenue for 38 years. He served as a sergeant in the U.S. Army during the Vietnam War. He received the Purple Heart, Bronze Star and The Army Commendation Medal. Jim enjoyed watching the Packers, exercising at the Princeton Club and spending time with his family. He was known for his quick wit and sense of humor. He is survived by his wife, Shirley; son, Jeff (Shelly); special granddaughter, Brooke; siblings, nieces, nephews, along with other relatives and friends.
