Jackie E. Foist, Jr.

WINDSOR - Jackie E. Foist Jr., age 56, passed away on Tuesday, July 16, 2013, following injuries sustained in a motor vehicle accident. Jack was born Aug. 25, 1956, in Columbus, Ind., the son of Ida Schmitz and Jack Foist Sr. He was a kind, compassionate, and outgoing person who would go out of his way to help others. He loved his family very much, as well as his loyal companions, Tasha and Zooy. Jack had many challenges he faced every day, but that did not break his spirit. He would always have a smile. Jack loved the outdoors, especially camping and fishing. Jack is survived by his loving wife of 32 years, Linda; son, Casey (Kara) Blanchette; sister, Linda (Ronald) Banks; and father, Jack (Beth) Foist Sr. He was preceded in death by his mother, Ida Glendening; and sister, Paula Anderson. Private services will be held at a later date. A special thank you from Linda to all those at Agrace HospiceCare, as well as the staff at UW Hospital for everything they did for Jack. He will be greatly missed by his family, friends and others whose lives he touched. "I will always love you."
