Jack L. Christian

Jack L. Christian (69) of Janesville, Wisconsin passed away February 8th, 2024 at St. Mary’s Hospital Madison; surrounded by family.

Jack was born on January 13, 1955, in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, to Leonard and Margaret Christian. He graduated from Parker High School in 1973. Jack entered the Active Army in 1973 and retired after 20 years as Sergeant First Class in the Army Reserve. He was a lifelong office machine repairman. He started repairing typewriters and adding machines, then transitioning to copiers.

He loved spending time with his four grandchildren. Whether it was attending school events or teaching them how to fish and to enjoy camping. He enjoyed taking his grandchildren on secret adventures. He loved his beloved Pitbull Tinsley. He liked watching the Brewers, Packers, and the Bucks. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, and camping with family. He loved growing his own garden of vegetables.

Jack is survived by his wife Kathy. Daughters: Heather Bornick, Amber (Brandon) Davis. Siblings; David Christian (Yvonne), Carl (Brenda) Christian, Jerome Johnson, RoseMaire (Rick) Farnsworth, Richard Johnson. Grandchildren: Emma Trumpy, Alexa Paulson, Dominick Paulson, Braelyn Davis. 10 nieces and nephews, and 15 great-nieces and great-nephews. Brothers In-Law: Richard Gross, Phillip Gross, Dennis Gross, and former spouse (mother of his children) Penny Justice. Many more cousins and friends.

He was preceded in death by both parents: Margaret (Robert) Johnson, and Leonard (Bonnie) Christian, Brothers: Allen Christian and Scott Johnson.

A Catholic Memorial Service followed by Military Honors will be held at Noon on Friday March 22nd, 2024, at All Faiths Funeral Home in Janesville, Wisconsin.
