Jack D. Christopher, age 77, passed away Sunday, May 6, 2007, in Eau Claire. He was born June 2, 1929, in Eau Claire to Irving and Marjorie (nee Spice) Christopher. Jack served in the U.S. Army from 1951 to 1953, and was a member of the Army’s first Guided Missile Defense Battery. Following his service, he went to work for Waste Research Reclamation until his retirement. Survivors include his wife, Phyllis (nee Wahl) Christopher of Altoona; two daughters, Deanna Christopher of Osseo and Annette Christopher of Chippewa Falls; two sons, Blair Christopher of Minnesota and Brent (Catherine) Christopher of Stoughton; two stepsons, Edward (Kathy) Mohr of Eau Claire and Dennis (Kathy) Mohr of Eau Claire; a sister, Audrey Doll of Elk Lake; and a brother, Irving Christopher of Augusta. He is further survived by grandchildren and great-grandchildren. He was preceded by his parents; a daughter, Evette Christopher-Sydejko; and a brother, Kermy Christopher.
