Irving Cameron Bacon

August 4, 1925 — December 23, 2006

MCFARLAND – Irving Cameron Bacon, age 81 of McFarland, passed away on Saturday, Dec. 23, 2006 at the HospiceCare Center in Fitchburg. He was born August 4, 1925. He served in the United States Army during World War II. He was a carpenter by trade, working many years for Bachman Construction. He was a member of Local 314 in Madison. Irving was a family man and loved his wife, boys and grandchildren tremendously. He is survived by his wife of 57 years, Mary J. (Haley) Bacon; three sons, Tom, of Lake Delton, Paul, Australia and Mark, of McFarland; seven grandchildren, Zachary, Monica, Cameron, Haley, Mayce, Mackenzie, and Kyle. He was preceded in death by an infant son, Stephen; and his parents. A Memorial Mass of Christian Burial will be held at ST. DENNIS CATHOLIC CHURCH, 505 Dempsey Road, on Friday, December 29, 2006 at 1 p.m. Burial will be in Highland Memory Gardens, Madison. Friends may call at the church on Friday from noon until the time of service. The family would like to thank Dr. Kostelyna and the Hospice Staff for there wonderful care.
