Henrietta T. Daken

Henrietta T. Daken, age 76, passed away suddenly December 9, 2007. She was born January 17, 1931 in Tilden, WI to Henry and Loretta (Ruf) Boos. She grew up in Chippewa Falls and graduated from McDonald High School in 1949. In Feb. of 1950, she married Leo J. Daken at Notre Dame Parish in Chippewa Falls and raised a family of five. She pursued a career in sales with the Tupperware Corp., Avon, and insurance. After the children had grown, she pursued a career with Cray Research, from which she retired. Henrietta is survived by four children: Larry (special friend, Carol Stage) Daken of Altoona, WI, Jean (Ron) Whiteside of Eau Claire, WI, Brenda (Dennis) Fenner of Chippewa Falls, WI and David Daken of Eau Claire, WI; nine grandchildren: Sean (Ann) Daken of Boulder, CO, Craig (Sarah) Stabenow of Chippewa Falls, WI, Kylie Stabenow of Houston, TX, Kellie (Scott) Bostrom of Altoona, WI, Jeffery (Aimee) Whiteside of Eagan, MN, Jamie Whiteside of Minneapolis, MN, Matthew Fenner of Chicago, IL, Jessica (fiance' John Brown) Fenner of Eau Claire, WI, Anthony Fenner of Lacey, WA; 11 great-grandchildren; a sister: Rose Marie Zweifelhofer of Eau Claire, WI; three brothers: Roman Boos of CA, Norman (Joyce) Boos of Cadott, WI and Thomas (Margaret) Boos of West Allis, WI. Further survived by other realtives and friends. She is preceded by her husband in 2000, her parents, a daughter: Mary Stabenow and her husband, Kenneth;a granddaughter: Sarah Fenner; four brothers: Clarence, Gerald, Ludwig and Henry "Bud" Boos; two sisters: Melinda Knorn and Josephine Fenner. The Mass of Christian Burial will be held, Thursday, December 13, 2007 at 10:30 AM at St. Mary's Catholic Church, 1812 Lynn Ave., Altoona. Interment will follow in Calvary Cemetery. Friends may call on Wednesday, December 12, 2007 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Plombon's All Faiths Funeral & Cremtion Service, 1405 N. Clairemont Ave., Eau Claire with a parish vigil service at 6:00 PM, and again at the church on Thursday, from 9:30 AM until the time of services.
