Helen Schnurbusch

MADISON/ MARSHALL - Helen D. Schnurbusch, age 77, of Marshall, and formerly of Madison, passed away Thursday, July 13, 2006, at her home with her daughter by her side. Helen was born Oct. 17, 1928, in Fond du Lac, the daughter of Theodore and Emily Fotes. She married Marvin "Ollie" Olson and they had a child together. She later married Ernest "Ernie" Schnurbusch. She loved people, had a great sense of humor, and was known for her pranks. She is survived by her daughter, Jennie (Mike) Carthew; grandsons, Paul (Lorry Fredrich) Carthew, Jon Carthew and Ben Schnurbusch; great-granddaughter, Ella Grace Carthew; two brothers, Timothy (Irene) Fotes and William Fotes; a sister, Mary Stovall; and many nieces and nephews. A memorial service will be held at TRINITY LUTHERAN CHURCH, 605 Madison St., Marshall on Sunday, July 16, 2006, at 2 p.m. with Pastor Paul Anderson officiating. Friends may call at the church from 1 p.m. until the time of service. In lieu of flowers, memorials can be made in Helen's name to HospiceCare Inc.
