She graduated from Davenport, IA High School and married LaVerne Heine on December 21, 1957, in Davenport, IA. She and LaVerne have resided in Janesville since their marriage. She is further survived by six great-grandchildren; one sister, Margaret (Mike) Regan, of Greensboro, NC; three special friends: Margaret Mortenson, Nancy Wells, both of Janesville, and Donna (John) Heine of Pewaukee, WI; and numerous nieces, and nephews. A visitation will be held from 4 p.m. until the time of service at the FUNERAL HOME. Memorials may be made to St. Mark's Lutheran Church or the Rock County Humane Society. A celebration of Helen’s life will also occur in the month of September. www.866allfaiths.com She had many little witticisms and feisty comments on life. She never failed to voice the obvious in a humorous way. She was a tough trooper, despite her diminutive physic. She overcame a lot of odds as if to thumb her nose at what was supposed to be. She has a fearless spirit, a classy style and a spunk attitude. We are honored to have known and loved her–LaVerne, Laurie and Heidi
