Helen Emmert

Janesville- Helen Emmert, age 80, passed away on Monday, November 24, 2008 at Rock Haven Nursing Home in Janesville. She was born September 19, 1928 the daughter of Hugo and Ruth (Tuckwood) Druckhammer in Chicago, Illinois. After high school she married Harold Sampson. He later preceded her in death. Several years later she married William Emmert. She enjoyed making dolls, sewing, and ceramics. Helen is survived by her husband William of Janesville; her children Halene (David) Rowley of Janesville; Samantha (Robert) August of Janesville; Gail (Mike) VonPinnon of Tucson, AZ; Gary (Charlene) Emmert of Riverbank, CA; and Mark (Deb) Emmert of North Manchester, IN. Eight grandchildren Nicole, Sarah, Ceneca, Joseph, Emily, Amanda, Jacob, Allison, and three great-grandchildren. Helen was preceded in death by her parents and an infant son. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 A.M. on Wednesday, November 26, 2008 at All Faiths Funeral Chapel 1618 E. Racine St. Janesville. Fr. Robert Lebron will be officiating. Friends may call from 10:00 A.M. until the time of service at the funeral home. Burial will follow at Milton Lawns Cemetery.
