Harriet E. Jones

Janesville-Harriet E. Jones, age 83, passed away Tuesday, February 23, 2010 at Mercy Hospital in Janesville after a brief illness. She was born January 5,1927 in Chippewa Falls, WI to Lester and Viola (Moeller) Kane. During her life time she worked hard until several months ago. She enjoyed her family and friends from around the country. Harriet is survived by three daughters Carol (Michael) Tirpak, of Janesville, WI; Barbara (Doug) Kaiser of Beloit, WI; Sandra Cone of Coolidge, Arizona; five grandchildren, Cathy (Tim) Weiler of Twin Lakes, WI; Bryan (Julie)Lochen of Island Lake, IL; Kimber (James) Smith of Aliso Viejo, CA; Alyson Burn of Portland, OR; Stephanie (Scott) Kaurin of Lombard, IL; eleven great grandchildren. She is preceded by her parents, two sons, Frank Cone III, Michael Cone, one brother Lester Kane Jr. and one sister Carol Gooding. Per Harriet’s request private services will be held with burial at Holy Trinity Catholic Church in Richmond, Iowa.
