Hans G. Kestler

MIDDLETON- Hans G. Kestler, age 75, of Middleton, passed away on Thursday, July 26, 2012 at University Hospital in Madison. He was born May 9, 1937 in Ansbach, Germany. He married Ruth Schoger on May 17, 1958 in Ansbach, Germany and together they moved to the United States in 1978. He worked as a brewmaster for numerous breweries, including Huber Brewing and Berghoff Brewing in Monroe, Wis. He is survived by his wife, Ruth; a son, Matthias Kestler, of Waunakee; a daughter, Angie DeGroot, of Deltona, Florida; and six grandchildren, Allison and Samantha Kestler, Robert O. Doyer, IV, Sabrina R. Wing, Rebecca L. Booth and Terron J. Booth. He was preceded in death by his parents and a son, Ralph Kestler. At the family’s request, no services will be held.
