Gerald Martin

McFARLAND - Gerald ("Jug"/"Jerry") Martin, age 60, passed away on Thursday, Feb. 24, 2011 at the HospiceCare Center, following a long struggle from a brain aneurism and stroke 9 years ago. Jerry was born Nov 11, 1950 in Stoughton. As a youth, Jerry loved growing-up on the farm. He enjoyed the outdoors, spending time up north at the cabin, and took pride in his garden. Jerry was an avid Green Bay Packer fan. Jerry is survived by a son, Chad; daughter, Candida; three grandchildren, Laticia, Raymond and Aaliyah; mother of his children, Jackie Ninedorf; his mother, Charlene (Stai) Halverson; step-father, Phillip; siblings Tom, Susan, Kathy, Debbie, Randy, Dave, Patti and Rodney; a special uncle, Charles Nelson, whom he worked side-by-side with in roofing; as well as many cousins. He was preceded in death by his father, Rodney; brother, Steve and cousin, Tammy Nelson. Services will be held at ALL FAITHS FUNERAL CHAPEL, 4058 Lien Rd., Madison on Friday, March 4, 2011 at 11 a.m. Visitation will be at the funeral home on Friday from 10 a.m. until the time of service.
