George Mcmenamy

Janesville-George M. McMenamy, age 72, passed away July 10, 2007 at his home. He was born June 25, 1935 in St. Louis, MO to James and Myrtle (Belle) McMenamy. George grew up in Chicago, married twice and had five daughters. He served in the United States Marines proudly fighting in the Korean War. He moved to Wisconsin in 1981 where he was surrounded by 18 grand children. George is survived by his brother John (Mary) McMenamy, of Chicago, IL; his daughters, Dawn (John) Davis, Mikki (John) Spaeth, Tracy (JD) McMenamy, Holly McMenamy, Melody McMenamy, and honorary daughter Lisa Lewis, all of the Janesville area. Grandchildren, Henry, Chris, Tony, Matt, Michael, Karrisa, Katelyn, Lauren, Mariah, Desi, Terrel, Hallie, Aliya, Toby, Erica, Colton, Tevin, Savannah. Two great grandchildren, Dakota, and Aliya. He is preceded in death by his parents, two sisters, Iva Marie McMenamy, Mary Ellen Pittman, one brother, James McMenamy, and one nephew Terry Pittman. Funeral services will be held at 5:00 P.M. on Friday July 13, 2007 at the All Faiths Funeral Chapel 1618 E. Racine St. Janesville.
