Gayle S. Anderson

MADISON Gayle Susan Anderson (Knipfer), age 60, passed away in her home on Tuesday, Nov. 21, 2017. She was born June 6, 1957, the daughter of Roger A. and Antoinette (Gage) Knipfer. Gayle grew up in Northern Wisconsin where she spent most of her life loving the outdoors, fishing, gardening, and the peace that the Northwoods gave her. She is survived by her father, Roger A. (Barb) Knipfer, of Stoughton; a daughter, Tisha Rae Rufer, of Duluth, Minn.; granddaughter, Natalya Marie Rufer; siblings, Connie (Kvernen) Gullickson, of Sun Prairie and Paul (Carrie) Knipfer, of Stoughton; and many aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews. Gayle was preceded in death by her mother, Antoinette (Richard) Verhagen; grandparents; sisters, Kim Knipfer and Terry Parish; brothers, Bill and Scott Knipfer; and niece, Bonnie Jane VanErt.
