JANESVILLE Floyd T. Schmidt, 72, of Janesville, died on Thursday, June 30, 2016 at Mercy Hospital in Janesville, WI, surrounded by his family. Tom, as everyone called him, was born April 17, 1944 in Janesville to Floyd and Della (Starks) Schmidt. He married his wife, Sherrie, on March 27, 1965. Tom retired from Kerry Ingredients in Beloit, in 2000. He enjoyed taking his dog Sheba for walks. He appreciated the time he could spend with his family camping, hunting and at cookouts. Tom is survived by his wife Sherrie, and his 2 children; Darla (Mark) Snyder of Stoughton and Wayne (Kim) Schmidt of Janesville. As well as 3 grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren. He is further survived by 3 sisters; Linda (Richard) Campbell, Cindy (Monte) Baxter and Sally (Al Boley) Swenson, all of Janesville, and 2 brothers; Larry (Bess) Schmidt of Shell Lake, WI and John (Sharon) Schmidt of Janesville, as well as many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. He is predeceased by his parents, 1 brother and 2 sisters. A visitation will be held on Tuesday, July 5, 2016 at ALL FAITHS FUNERAL HOME, 1618 E. Racine St. in Janesville from 5:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. A private family service will be held at a later date. All Faiths Funeral and Cremation Services 1618 E.
