Florence M. Hallquist

Florence M. Hallquist, 81, of Eau Claire, died on Monday, March 26, 2007, at Luther Hospital. He was born March 24, 1926, in Eau Claire to George and Nan (nee Ward) Price. In September of 1943, she married Carl J. Hallquist. He preceded her in death on December 22, 1995. Survivors include four children, James (Patricia) Hallquist of Hallie, Shirley (Gerald) Brummond of Fall Creek, John (Suzette) Hallquist of Boyd and Terri (Bob) Gunderson of Fall Creek; 11 grandchildren, Rick and Steve (Melissa) Hallquist, Gerald Jr., Scott and Julie Brummond, Sherry Shafer, Lisa (Mike) Schneider, Ken (Teresa) Hallquist, Chad (Sara) Hallquist, Tanya (Jason) Pestka and Gregory Gunderson; 26 great-grandchildren; nine great-great-grandchildren; a brother, Kenneth (Adeline) Price, of Chippewa Falls; and a sister, Betty Steltzer, of Eau Claire. Further survived by a former daughter-in-law, Mary Lou Hallquist; other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by a son, Kenneth Allen Hallquist; three brothers, Joe, Art and Bob Price; and two sisters, Lillian Kenseth and Gladys Price. Funeral services will be at 10 a.m. on Friday, March 30, 2007, at Sacred Heart Catholic Church, 448 N. Dewey St., Eau Claire. Interment will be in Sacred Heart Cemetery. Friends may call on Thursday, March 29, from 4 to 8 p.m. at All Faiths Funeral & Cremation Service, 1405 N. Clairemont Ave., Eau Claire. A prayer service will be held at 7:30 p.m. Further visitation will be held on Friday at the church, one hour prior to services.
