Florence E. Bleske

Florence E. Bleske, age 93, passed away Wednesday, July 2, 2008 at Dove Health Care in Eau Claire . She was born May 26, 1915 in Spring Valley, WI to Frank and Hatti (nee Kohn) Nederoski. Her family moved to Wilson, WI where she grew up. After marrying John Bleske in 1932, they moved to a farm in Chippewa Co., Town of Wheaton where she continued to live after her husband's death in 1957. Florence had been a cook for several Eau Claire area restaurants including the Seahorse Inn, the Left Guard and Staffnees. Florence is survived by two children: John F. (Carolyn) Bleske of Elk Mound, WI; LaDonna Stevens of Kenosha, WI; six grandchildren: Josette (Dean) Zwiefelhofer of Chippewa Falls, WI, Richard (Jana) Stevens of Texas, Scott (Sheri) Stevens of Pleasant Prairie, Wi, Kim (Frank) Richards of Kenosha, WI, Brian Bleske of Cornell, WI, and Roberta "Bobbie" (Brian) Boots of Mechanicsville, IA. Further survived by great-grandchildren, great-great-grandchildren, other relatives and a close personal friend, Charlotte Otto of Eau Claire, WI. She was preceded in death by her husband; a son: Bill Bleske; a daughter: Lois Joyce; two grandsons: Allen Bleske and Jason Bleske; her parents; a brother: Willard; and a sister: Beverly Teers. A Memorial Mass will be held on Monday, July 7, 2008 at 11:00 AM at St. Joseph's Catholic Church in Elk Mound with Fr. Victor Inbanaj officiating. Private interment in Forest Hill Cemetery in Eau Claire. Friends may call at the church, on Monday, from 10:00 AM until the time of services.
