Everett James Lemke

Janesville-Everett James Lemke, age 75, passed away December 28, 2006 at Our House Memory Care, in Janesville. He was born January 20, 1931 in Waterloo, WI; to Charles and Leona (Stengel) Lemke. He graduated from Waterloo high School in 1949. Everett entered the U.S Navy in 1950, serving proudly in the Korean War. He married Joyce Pingel on June 22, 1963 in Waterloo. He was employed by General Telephone for thirty eight years, before retiring in 1993. He enjoyed woodworking, gardening, but most of all he loved spending time with his family. Everett is survived by his wife Joyce, of Janesville, WI; his children Kelli (Mike) Wolff, of Janesville, WI; Keri (Thomas) Bevan, of Evanston, IL; Christopher (Meghan) Lemke of Nashville, TN; six grandchildren, Chelsey, Carley, Haydn, Kiel, Jacob, Abigail. He is preceded in death by his parents, and one brother Merlin. Memorial service will be held 12:00 P. M. on Sunday, December 31, 2006 at All Faiths Funeral Chapel.
