Eugene H. Jensen

Eugene H. Jensen passed away Thursday, November 12, 2009 after a short illness. Eugene was born June 9, 1933 in Reedsburg, the son of Adelbert and Beulah (Brown) Jensen. He married Evelyn Ostrander, January of 1951. He then married Deborah Mayes in 1975. Eugene served his country in the United States Air Force. Eugene was a skilled carpenter by trade. He is survived by his 8 children, Mike (Georgieann) Jensen , Fort Atkinson, Jim ( Margaret) Jensen, Janesville, Debbie (Kerry ) Schlegel , Adams, Darcy (Ken) Gasch , Janesville, Garry (Lanniea) Jensen, Janesville, Eugene (Nicky)Jensen, JR, Mondovi, Debrah Jean (Johnny) Juliano, Noel , MO and Theresa Eberly, Noel , MO. He is further survived by his sister, Joan Marcott , Janesville; three brothers, Richard (Darlene) Jensen, Delavan, Dale (Ruth) Jensen, Clinton and Norman (Olsie) Jensen, Janesville; ex-wife, Deborah Mayes and special niece, Sandy Hemmer; 23 grandchildren, 18 great grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, Delbert and Beulah; first wife, Evelyn; one daughter, Vickie Jensen; a brother, Donald Jensen; and sisters, Delores Hauri, Phyllis Steurer and Mavis Brecklin. A memorial service will be held at the Salvation Army Chapel, 514 Sutherland Ave., Janesville, on Monday, November 16, 2009 at 1 p.m., with Garry Jensen officiating .
