Eudora A. Mohoney

On November 10th, 2023, a radiant light departed this earthly realm, transitioning to the next. Eudora Mohoney, at the age of 93, graced our lives with her presence. Born on June 13th, 1930, in the town of McGregor, Iowa, she was the cherished daughter of Jake and Pearl Kolowinski.

Eudora’s elegance and charm made her the belle of her hometown, Prairie du Chien, Wis. She wore the crown of homecoming queen and held the title of Miss Crawford County. In 1951, she captured the heart of her late husband, Donald Mohoney, who was equally captivated by her grace and beauty. Together, Eudora and Donald built a life filled with love and family.

Their union radiated through their five children: Debra, Victor, Jerry, James, and Tina. As time flowed, their legacy expanded to include seventeen grandchildren, numerous great-grandchildren, and even a handful of great-great-grandchildren. Each generation carried forward the warmth, kindness, and humor that defined Eudora.

To the attentive and compassionate nurses and staff at Sun Prairie Health Care and Agrace Hospice, the Mohoney family extends heartfelt gratitude. Their unwavering care and attention eased Eudora’s transition. Rest in peace, dear Mom. Your light will forever illuminate our hearts.
