Ellen M. Becker

MADISON/COTTAGE GROVE – Ellen Marie Becker, age 87 of Cottage Grove and formerly of Madison, passed away on Thursday, Oct. 21, 2021, at Waunakee Manor. Ellen was born in Madison on June 4, 1934, to Joseph and Ellen (Dineen) Fumuso. She was a graduate of Madison Central High School. She married Orville Becker in Sun Prairie, Wis., on July 14, 1951. Ellen worked various jobs at Belmont Nursing Home, Oscar Mayer and Wisconsin Porcelain until her retirement. She was an avid bowler and volunteered for the Madison Scouts Drum and Bugle Corp. Ellen is survived by three children, Dennis (Jannette) Becker, Kim (Jeff) Bonjean and Linda “Lucy” (Bill) Ammann; daughter-in-law, Kris Becker; six grandchildren, Katie Jo (Joaquine) Monjarez, Amy (Mike) Jacyna, Jody (Tyler) Kroneman, Crystal Schaaf, Joseph Becker, and Bryan Becker; four great-grandchildren, Cameron, Keira, Tracen and Frankie; sisters-in-law, Ardis Wales and Janice Fumuso; and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband, Orville; parents; son, William Becker; grandson, Adam Becker; grandson-in-law, Christopher Schaaf; and several brothers and sisters. A memorial service will be held at 3 p.m. on Tuesday, Oct. 26, 2021, at ALL FAITHS FUNERAL CHAPEL, 4058 Lien Rd., Madison. Private burial will be held at Highland Memory Gardens, Madison. Visitation will be held at the funeral home on Tuesday from 2 p.m. until the time of service. A heartfelt thank you to the staff at Waunakee Manor for the love and care given to our mom.
