Eleanor M. Kloss

Eleanor M. Kloss, age 93, passed away on Friday, January 4, 2008 . She was born May 20, 1914 in Chippewa Falls, WI to Theophile and Margaret (nee Comeford) Girard. After graduating from Notre Dame High School in Chippewa Falls, she married Clarence J. “Zeke” Kloss at Notre Dame Catholic Church. In her later years, she was a hostess at McDonalds on Hastings Way. Eleanor enjoyed her last years under the care of her extended family at Grace Edgewood Eleanor is survived by two sons: William Kloss of Eau Claire, WI and Kenneth (Ken Ragan) Kloss of Ellijay, GA; ten grandchildren: Mike (Leisa) Kloss of Chetek, WI, Dan (Patty) Kloss of Fishers, IN, Cathy Marie (Butch) Goss of Brackett, WI, Pat Kloss of Fort Wayne, IN, Sue (Dan) Flug of Hayward, WI, Joe Kloss of Chippewa Falls, WI, John (Jodi) Kloss of West Salem, WI, Karla Thompson of Eleva, WI, Rob (Karisa) Kloss of Boston, MA, Billy Kloss of Marshfield, WI; a sister: Laverne Baker of Chippewa Falls, WI. Further survived by 14 great-grandchildren, a great-great-granddaughter, other relatives and friends. She is preceded by her husband, two sons: Gerald and Robert, her parents, three brothers and two sisters. Mass of Christian Burial will be held Tuesday, January 8, 2008 at 11:00 AM at Sacred Heart of Jesus Catholic Church, 448 N. Dewey Street, Eau Claire. Interment will follow in Sacred Heart Parish Cemetery. Friends may call on Monday, January 7, 2008 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Plombon's All Faiths Funeral & Cremation Service, 1405 N. Clairemont Ave., Eau Claire with a 7:00 PM parish vigil service. Further visitation will be from 9:30 AM until 10:30 AM at the funeral home (there will be no vistiation at the church).
