Dorothy M. Christner

Dorothy M. Christner, age 81, passed away Wednesday, July 2, 2008 at St. Joseph's Hospital in Chippewa Falls, WI.. She was born April 27, 1927 in Cloverland, MN to Fred and Ida (nee Leslie) Christner. Dorothy married Arthur J. Holte in 1954 and he preceded her in death in 1966. Survivors included eleven children: Dee (John) Anderson of Maple Grove, MN, Sharon (Presley) Herbert of Bloomer, WI, Sandra Schlewitz of Eau Claire, WI, David (Nancy) Holte of Chippewa Falls, WI, Ken (Deb) Holte of Cadott, WI, Bonnie (Bernard) of MN, Linda (Roger) Balts of Cadott, WI, Larry (Patricia) Holte of Thorp, WI, Brenda Holte of CA, Diane (Ron) Ottum of Spring Valley, WI, and Dawn (Jim) Anderson of Zimmerman, MN; three sisters: Zelda Larson of Buffalo City, WI, Jeanette (Dennis) Abbeldinger of Eau Claire, WI and Velma (Dale) Atchison of Cadott, WI; three brothers: Don (Betty) Christner of Elk Mound, WI, Alvin (Connie) Christner of Elk Mound, WI and Freddy (Nancy) Christner of Duluth, MN. Further survived by grandchildren, great-grandchildren, other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her husband, her parents and four brothers: Alfred, Glen, Richard and Jearold Christner. Memorial Services will be held on Saturday, July 5, 2008at 11:00 AM at Plombon s All Faiths Funeral & Cremation Service, 1405 N. Clairemont Ave., Eau Claire..
