Dorothy B. Zaborek

Dorothy B. Zaborek, 78, Janesville, passed away Thursday, May 6, 2010, at Mercy Hospital. She was born on May 30, 1931 in Edgerton, the daughter of Ellsworth and Inga Aaberg. After graduating from Edgerton High School, she married Joseph T. Zaborek in Dubuque, Iowa. Together they raised their two children in Edgerton, and later moved to Janesville. Dorothy had a passion for many things, including her hobbies of miniature dollhouses, needlepoint, cooking, but most of all, her grandchildren and family. Dorothy is survived by her two children, Lynn (Barry) Lawrence of Port Charlotte, FL, and Robert (Robin) Zaborek of Arvada, CO; five grandchildren: Leslie, Joseph, Thomas, Caroline, and Janet Kay; a brother, James Aaberg, of El Paso, TX; a sister, Gloria Lentz of Janesville; and her beloved nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband and her parents. Private family services were held. In lieu of other expressions of sympathy, memorials may be made to HospiceCare.
