Dorothy A. Williams

MADISON - Dorothy A. Williams, age 99, passed away at Oregon Manor on Saturday, June 15, 2013. She was born Oct. 19, 1913, in Aishe, South Brent, England, the daughter of John and Celia (Elliot) Rowlands. At age four, she moved to Beeton, Ontario, Canada, and later to Fitchburg and Oregon, Wis. She is survived by her sisters, Betty (Bill) Meier and Jean Buchanan; sons, Ernie (Jeanie) Mabis and Bill Mabis; daughters, Shirley (Gordon) Smith and Esther Hanson; 11 grandchildren, 11 great grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews. Dorothy was preceded in death by her husband, Loren Williams; her parents; step-father, Norman McMicken; grandson, Alan Smith; brothers, George and William Rowland and Roy and Sam McMicken; and sisters, Gladys Short and Mae Klein. A memorial service will be held at ALL FAITHS FUNERAL CHAPEL, 4058 Lien Rd., Madison on Saturday, June 22, 2013 at 11 a.m. Inurnment will be held at a later date in Roselawn Memorial Park. Visitation will be held at the funeral home on Saturday from 10 a.m. until the time of service.
