Doris Marie Henderson

McFARLAND / OREGON - Doris Marie Henderson (Torgerson), age 91, the beloved wife of Elmer, mother of 10 and "Ma" to everyone else who knew her, passed away peacefully and with grace on Monday, Feb. 10, 2014, at her winter home in Los Fresnos, Texas. Doris is survived by her one and only love, husband Elmer; the children she loved and was so proud of, Kay (Jeff) Lewis, Gary (Geri), Glen (Linda), David (Nancy), LaVern (Jody) Henderson, Linda (Jim) Mulhern, Terry, Larry Donald (deceased), Ed (Linda) Henderson and Sharon (Ross) Berge; the joys of her later life, her 23 grandchildren; 29 great-grandchildren; and four great-great-grandchildren. A celebration of Doriss life will be held at the STOUGHTON VFW HALL, 200 Veterans Rd., on Saturday, April 26, 2014 beginning at 1:30 p.m. with a visitation to follow until 6 p.m. In lieu of flowers, a memorial fund is being established in memory of Doris. We are saying good bye to the best cook this side of Heaven, oh wait, on both sides now.
