Donna M. Hatcher

ROCKFORD/CHICAGO Donna Marie Hatcher, age 57, of Rockford, Ill., passed away at University Hospital in Madison, Wis., on Thursday, Jan. 4, 2018, following an extended battle with cancer. Donna was born and raised in Chicago, Ill., on Feb. 10, 1960, the daughter of Norman Walter and Josephine Marie (Ippolito) Hagen. She loved the outdoors, gardening and her cats, but the most important thing to her was her family. She was always willing to help others no matter what difficulties she had at the time. She is survived by her husband, Randy Hatcher of Rockford, Ill.; three children, Robin Schueler, Steven Petty and Kevin (Katie) Petty, all of Rockford, Ill.; her pride and joy six grandchildren, Angela Schueler, Kendra Petty, Kevin Petty, II, Anthony Tinberg, Kenden Petty and Bozak Petty; a sister, Desiree (Robert) Glover of Lake in the Hills, Ill.; a brother, Dave Hagen of Niles, Ill.; a nephew, Robert Anthony Glover; and her life-long friend, Lynn Wolff of Alpha, Mich. Donna was preceded in death by her parents. At her request, no services will be held. In lieu of flowers, a memorial fund is being established.
