Donna Forsythe

Cottage Grove – Donna Susan Evelyn Gard Forsythe, age 50, passed away Friday, September 28, 2012 at her home following an extended battle with cancer. She was born December 6, 1961 in Madison, WI; to Eldon and Norma (Cupp) Gard. Donna attended Kennedy Grade School and Schenk Middle School before graduating from LaFollette High School, Class of 1980. She was employed by Ahrens (Bergstom) Motors for twenty two years. She was currently employed by WPS Insurance Company. She married Wayne Forsythe on September 25, 1993 at the Monona United Methodist Church. Wayne preceded Donna in death on November 7, 2008. Donna is survived by her parents, her fiancé Kirk Morris, of Cottage Grove, WI; one brother, Steve (Shari) Gard, of Mt. Hope, WI; one sister, Diane (David) Brinkley, of Richland Center, WI; niece/God Child Megan (Kevin) Welsh and great nephew Peyton, niece Amanda (Matt) Gessner, nephew Shawn Gard, four step nieces Jeanette Wolter and family, Pam (Jim Hirsh –deceased) and family, Kris (Matt Pugh) Wolter and family, Vicky (Matt Benjamin) Wolter and family three sisters in law, Judy (Lorin) Schwock Dottie (Alan) Lagerburg, , Linda (Mike Roth) Benkowski. She was preceded in death by her husband and one brother in law Tom Forsythe. A memorial service will be held at 11:00 A.M on Saturday, October 6, 2012 at the Monona United Methodist Church 606 Nichols Dr. Monona. Pastor David Byers-Dent will be officiating. A visitation will be held from 10:00 A.M until the time of service at the church. Burial will take place at Bloom City Cemetery in Richland County at a later date.
