Donald Ray Rockwell

BEAVER DAM - Donald Ray Rockwell, age 65, was reunited with his wife Patricia, on Sunday August 13, 2006 at his home in Beaver Dam. Donald was born August 19, 1940, in Viola, Wis., the son of Richard and Tessie (McElhose) Rockwell. On November 25, 1961 in Madison, he married the former Patricia Riley. He was employed by the University of Wisconsin, Physical Plant Department, before retiring in 1979. Donald will be fondly remembered for his love of woodworking, refinishing furniture, and cutting wood. Donald and Patricia are survived by three children, Ricky (Friend, Laura) Rockwell, Beaver Dam, Lanette (Steve) Brown, Beaver Dam, Maranda (Michael) Feltzkowski, Marshall; a brother, LaVerne (Judy) Rockwell, Elkhorn; three sisters, Barb (Michael) Jordan, Carpentersville, Ill, Ann Long, Madison, Evelyn Metcalf, Albequrece, NM,; two brothers-in-law, Edward (Carleen) Riley, Madison, and Robert (Vera) Riley, Madison; seven grandchildren, Christopher, Chelsea, Ryan Rockwell, all at home in California, Michael (Lindsey) Gerretsen, Auburndale, Nicholas Brown, Beaver Dam, Sabrina, and Michael Jr. at home in Marshall; four great-grandchildren, and many other relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by his loving wife Patricia, on April 17, 2006, foster parents, Thomas and Florence Hopkins, and parents, Richard and Tessie Rockwell. Family graveside services for Donald and Patricia will be held at St. Paul’s Lutheran Church Cemetery in Portage.
