Donald R. Hinrichs

Donald Ralph Hinrichs, 76, of Edgerton, went home to be with his Heavenly Father on June 13th, 2016. Donald was the only son of Ralph and Leona Hinrichs. He was born in Madison, Wisconsin and grew up in McFarland on Lake Waubesa. He helped operate the Lakeland Junior Rifle Club in McFarland for many years, teaching young people to safely operate firearms. He also was a NRA sponsored Hunter Safety, Rifle, Pistol and Shotgun instructor. Donald graduated from East High School in Madison, WI in 1957. He was a member of the Wisconsin Air National Guard from 1957 to 1963 and left the Guard with a rank of Airman 1st Class. Donald enjoyed boating and fishing, as well as water skiing in his younger years. He is survived by his 2 sons, Daniel Hinrichs of Edgerton and Chris Hinrichs of Port Charlotte, Fl; along with his 5 grandchildren. He truly enjoyed the Spring and Fall Pier Parties with his extended family on Lake Koshkonong - whom he loved as much as his immediate family. At Don's request there will be no services.
