Donald M. Lease

STOUGHTON - Donald Michael Lease, age 84 of Stoughton, WI, formerly of Ridgeway, WI, passed away Monday May 16th at the Nazareth House Nursing Home. Donald was born on May 23rd, 1926 in Blue Mounds WI on the family farm. He is the son of Edward, Sr. and Mary (Kiley) Lease. He is survived by his wife, Avis (Horner) Lease of 63 years, Michael Lease, Patricia Derr (Dave), Bob Lease (Cindy), Sharon Schasse (Don), Julie Butler (Doug), Mark Lease (Anne), Peggy O'Connor (Terry), Tom Lease (Anita), Rick Lease (Angie), as well as 18 grandchildren and 8 great-grandchildren. He is further survived by his siblings, Averill, Raymond, Gary, Virgina and Betty. He was preceded in death by Dolores, Edward Jr., Loraine, David and Bernard. He served in the US Army ground forces and was a heavy weapon crewman. His greatest enjoyment in life was his family, hunting, fishing, baseball and practical jokes. A Mass of Christian burial will be held at ST. ANN’S CATHOLIC CHURCH, 323 N. Van Buren St. Stoughton, on Wednesday May 18, 2011 at 1 p.m. Visitation will be held at the church from 11 a.m. until the time of service. Donald will be dearly missed by his family and friends.
