Donald J. Granzow

JANESVILLE Donald J. Granzow, age 74, of Janesville, WI, passed away unexpectedly on Thursday, November 10, 2016, at his home. Donald was born in Stoughton, Wisconsin on November 6, 1942 to Donald and Helen (Attlesey) Granzow. He took great pride in his lawn and was proud of his John Deere mower. Donald enjoyed camping, country music and football pools. He loved taking care of his dogs, Lacy Jo and Rascal. Donald is survived by his sons: Bradley (Sue Hart) Granzow and John Granzow, both of Janesville. He is also survived by his nieces and nephew; Suzanne (Russell) Stephenson of Kansas City, MO, Lisa (David) Smith of Janesville, and Duane (Melinda) Pierson of Sun Prairie, WI. He was a father figure to Chenie Negus of Janesville and Russell Restivo of Brodhead. In addition to his parents, Donald was predeceased by his brother, Duane Granzow and his sister, Dorothy Pierson; as well as his special friend, Doris Perkins. A Memorial Gathering will take place at Milton Lawns Memorial Park on November 17, 2016 at 11:00 a.m. until 12 noon. Burial will immediately follow the gathering.
