Dianne Cobb

Diane Cobb, age 50 of Madison died at home on Thursday June 17th,2010 after an 18 month courageous and graceful battle with cancer. She was born in Columbia County, Maryland , December 17th,1959 to Yvonne Green(Anderson) and Gordon Green. She was united in marriage to Larry Cobb September 18,1982 in Madison, Wisconsin. Diane worked as an Account Clerk DD for 20 years at Dane County Social Services. She was an inspiration to many and loved by all who knew her. Diane is survived by her beloved husband Larry, siblings Sheila of Madison, Charles of Philadelphia(Adrien and Camille), Joseph of Madison and Lisa (Russ) Wangsness of Rudolph (Bryce and Grant), Larrys family of Madison. Larrys mother Ardythe, sisters Laurie, Lisa(Mike) Hefty (Brian,Beth,Bradley) and many Aunts,Uncles and Cousins. She was preceded in death by her parents, brother Michael and her beloved father in law Roger Cobb. A Time of Remembrance will be held on Saturday June 26th from 3-5pm at Hospice Care, 5395 E Cheryl Parkway, Fitchburg. Dianes family would like to thank the wonderful medical team who helped Diane live gracefully over the last 18months. Special thanks to Dr. Sheryl Spitzer- Resnick, Mahal Davis, the entire staff at Hospice with special thanks to Dawn, Annette, Jim and dear friends Mrs. Brandt, Wendy, Adoula, Shannon, Maya, Jan, Laura, Maggie, Dan and so many more who have inspired and enriched her life.
