Delores Mae Swenson

Delores Mae Pat Swenson, 86, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, April 15, 2015, at Rock Haven Nursing Home; where she had resided for many years. She was born on Nov. 13, 1928, in Watertown, to Byron and Martha (Schroeder) Miller. She married Marvin Swenson on Sept. 16, 1961. In addition to spending time with her family, Pat liked going to bingo, the casinos, watching sports and her daily scratch-offs. She especially enjoyed playing cards, cribbage and shaking dice with her brothers and sisters. Pat is survived by her children: Beverly Miller and Timothy (Vicky) Swenson, both of Janesville, and Mark (Deb) Lindvig of Viroqua, WI; her grandchildren: Karla (Joe) Lathers and Kris (Glen) Pehl of Janesville, Brandi and Brandon Lindvig of Westby, WI, and Nathan and JackLynn Swenson of Janesville; step-grandchildren: Chris Wagner, Tim Wagner, Jennifer Suckow, and Alex Quaerna, all of Janesville, Shelbria (Brock) Wachtveitl of Darien; great-grandchildren: Justin Shelton, Blake, Brady and Brooke Pehl, Isabelle Knapp, Laney and Mari Lindvig; step great-grandchildren: Riley, McKenzie and Lindsey Wachtveitl, and Leo Wagner. She is further survived by her sisters: Joanne Anderson of Neillsville, Darla (Ernie) Schreier of Cashton and Judy of Watertown; her brothers, Byron Butch Miller and Howard (Shirley) Widner, both of Janesville. Pat is also survived by many sisters-in-law and brothers-in-law, as well as nieces, nephews, and other family members. She was preceded in death by her husband, Marvin; two infant sons; her parents; her sisters, Shirley Widner and MaryAnn Ebert; her brothers, Robert Miller, Hallie Widner and Jackie Miller; her ex-husband, Harold Lindvig; a son-in-law, David Miller; many sisters-in-law; brothers-in-law; and other family members. The family would like to thank the staff of Rock Haven Nursing Home for their support and all they did in caring for Delores. A Memorial Service will be held on Saturday, April 25, 2015, at 1 p.m. at ALL FAITHS FUNERAL CHAPEL, 1618 E. Racine St., Janesville, WI.
