Dean W. Stahl, Sr.

MADISON – Dean W. Stahl, Sr., age 89, passed away on Sunday, Oct. 15, 2023, at his home in Madison, with his daughter by his side. He was born in Muir, Pennsylvania on August 20, 1934, the son of Clair and Eva (Reiner) Stahl. Dean married Vivian Mae Foulk on April 16, 1955, in Madison, Wisconsin.

Dean retired from the U.S. Air Force following 20 years of service, on June 1, 1972. He later worked 21 as a diesel mechanic at Skelly Truck Stop outside of Madison.

Dean is survived by his daughter, Debra Stahl; twin granddaughters, Ashley and Michelle Stahl; and four grandchildren, Hayden Stahl, and Adrian, Ethan and Amelia Kangethe. Dean was preceded in death by his wife, Vivian, on March 19, 1998; parents; and sons, Douglas J. Stahl and Dean W. Stahl, Jr.

Private family services will be held with inurnment at Sun Prairie Memory Gardens, Sun Prairie, Wisconsin.
