Dawn Marie Kuykendall

MADISON Dawn Marie Kuykendall, age 46, passed away on Sunday, Jan. 11, 2015 at St. Marys Hospital in Madison. She was born on July 26, 1968 in Madison, the daughter of Frederick and Sharon (Zingshiem) Kuykendall. Dawn grew up and attended school in Janesville. She moved to Madison in her adult years and worked as a waitress. She was a real people person and could strike up a conversation with anyone. She was thoughtful, generous and would readily give to others, even when she had little. She was creative and artistic. She wrote many poems over the years and even taught a childrens community workshop on poetry. She also liked to draw. Her greatest joy in life was her cat, Gordie, who was her constant companion for the past 10 years. Dawn is survived by her father, Frederick L. Kuykendall; mother, Sharon A. Marie-Wilson (Charles W. Wilson); sister, Diana Kiesling; beloved nephew, Nathan Kiesling; special aunt, Donna Kuykendall; and many other aunts, uncles, cousins and friends. She was preceded in death by her grandparents. A memorial gathering will be held at ALL FAITHS FUNERAL CHAPEL, 4058 Lien Rd., Madison on Tuesday, Jan. 20, 2015 from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m. NEW FREEDOM Goodbye is only temporary Youve gone to a place unseen. A better place we call Heaven, Where the Grass is always green. Your Love Ones are there to greet you- Those who have already passed, Waiting to take you over, Making your transition smooth and fast. There youll know a New Freedom, Unknown to us here on Earth. Where there is no hate, or pain, or fear, Only the Love we knew at birth. So, as we try to move on with our lives And accept that youre really gone, Our grief and sorrow will be replaced Knowing our separation will not be long. Through Memories you will always be with us, But if ever I feel you near, I will trust my gut instincts And know that youre really here. And although we will always miss you, Well look forward to the day, When youre standing at the Pearly Gates, To greet and show us the way! Dawn M.
