MADISON - Dawn Augusta Sennett, age 82, passed away on September 2, 2021, at St. Mary’s Hospital in Madison, surrounded by her loved ones after a brief and unexpected illness. Dawn was born May 3, 1939, in Los Angeles, California. She was raised in Stratford, South Dakota by George and Louise Stange. She moved to Madison as a young woman and worked as an administrative assistant for the Department of Public Instruction. Dawn enjoyed traveling with friends, and favorite destinations included Florida, Vegas, and Carribean cruises. She was an avid NASCAR fan, enjoyed country music, and loved shopping, especially QVC! Dawn was able to spend her last few years with her greatest joy in life, her first great-grandson, Griffin. Dawn is survived by her son, Dan (Cathy) Sennett of Tomahawk; her daughters, Lori (Venton) Davidson of Madison, and Jane (Dan) Johnson of Pardeeville. She is further survived by her grandchildren, Andy and Gordon (Courtney) Sennett, Lindsay and Leah Johnson, Megan Norton, and Kyle Davidson; and her great-grandson, Griffin Johnson. Dawn was preceded in death by her parents; and her grandson, Doug Sennett. She will be missed by her family and friends dearly, as well as her community at Westminster Senior Apartments, 6160 Dell Dr., Madison, where a celebration of life will be held on Sunday, September 12, 2021, from 1 p.m. to 3 p.m. All Faiths Funeral & Cremation Services of Madison is assisting the family.
