David J. Boshela

Janesville-David J. Boshela, 50, of Janesville, WI passed away, Monday, Sept. 24, 2012 at Mercy Hospital and Trauma Center, Janesville. David was born March 30, 1962 in Richland Center, WI, the son of Shirley Hatcher. David loved to volunteer his time and help anyone who called upon him. He was an avid Harley rider, participating in many poker runs. He was a member of the Rock River Thresheree, and enjoyed camping. He made many people happy with his home baked goods and had a green thumb for plants. David is Survived by his Mother and step-Father Shirley and Allan Schroeder of Beloit, WI, his Step-sisters, Tina March (Tatiana, Tristiana, and Trestin), of Janesville, Lisa (Andy) Nickell (Kaelin, Taylor, and Hunter), of Ankeny, IA, Half-sisters Renee (Billy Siegner), Boshela (Derek) of Loves Park, IL, Kim (Zach Pusso) Boshela (Aylameda), of Virginia, a brother Pat Boshela of Texas, step-mother Blondena (Bob) Best of Shannon, IL, maternal Grandmother Gyneth Sugden, of Beloit, step-paternal Grandmother Shirley Schroeder of Berlin, WI, numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins, very close friends Ken and Danielle Pierson and their children, of Janesville, a very special friend Karri Felton of Janesville, and his cat OZZY. David was predeceased by his maternal Grandfather Dave Hatcher, paternal step-Grandfather Howard Schroeder, and 2 cats Sabbath and Tubby. He will be missed by his many extended family and friends. The family wishes to thank Mercy Hospital ICU nurses and staff for their exceptional care of David during his time there and the organ donation team from the UW Madison who helped David donate his organs and tissues so others may live on. A memorial service will be held at 3:00 P.M. on Friday, September 28, 2012 at All Faiths Funeral Chapel, 1618 E. Racine St, Janesville.
