Daniel "Spam" Noyce

PARDEEVILLE/OREGON – Daniel “SPAM” Noyce, age 42 of Pardeeville and formerly of Oregon, passed away on Friday, November 14, 2008, following a hard fought battle with a brain tumor. He was born Oct. 2, 1966 in Madison, the son of Richard and Alice (Xander) Noyce. Dan graduated from Oregon High School. He drove dump truck for several years for Mary’s Trucking. Dan loved gyros, lobster and Bud Light. He enjoyed NASCAR, especially watching Dale Earnhardt, Jr., Kentworth Trucks, fast cars and motorcycles, going to Sturgis, “Deadliest Catch” and “Ice Road Truckers”. SPAM was a Patriarch for the C.C. Riders of Madison. He was a long time good bike rider, and was also a “Road Captain”. Dan is survived by his Golden Retriever, H.D. Knucklehead; his mother, Alice (Tim Olson) Xander; his sister, DeAnn (Brian) DeValk; step-brother, Scott Olson; two nieces, BreAnn DeValk and BreeAnn Olson; and many aunts, uncles, cousins and friends, especially, Darla Bradley, Lu Eggleston, Jr. and Doug Nickel. He was preceded in death by his father Richard Noyce, maternal grandparents, Donald and Winnifred Xander; and paternal grandparents, Ray and Anna Noyce. A celebration of Dan’s life will be held at the C.C. RIDERS CLUBHOUSE, 1325 Parkside Dr., Madison on Sunday Nov. 16, 2008 at 2 p.m. In lieu of flowers, a memorial fund is being established. Thank you to the Hospice staff for all the care they gave to him. Dan had a full life, but just wasn’t done living! He played hard and worked hard. “RIDE IT LIKE YOU STOLE IT!”
