Curtis Boone

MADISON – Curtis Boone, age 82 of Madison, passed away on Saturday, March 15, 2008 at St. Mary’s Hospital. He was born on June 21, 1925 in Mississippi, the son of Levi and Ollie Boone. He married Carrie Steele on January 3, 1944 in Mississippi. Curtis attended Bethel High School, and worked as a farmer. His hobbies included hunting and fishing. He gave his life to Christ at an early age. Clinton leaves to cherish, his wife of 64 years, Carrie; three sons, Henry, Robert (Linda), and Clinton, all of Madison; four daughters, Pearlie (Tommie) Roach, of St. Louis, Eddie Mae McClain, of Detroit, Lynell (Joe Frank) White, of Milwaukee, and Betty Ward, of Madison; and a host of nieces, nephews and grandchildren. He is further survived by seven sisters, Nellie, Lillie, Rose Mae, Susan, Leonia, Minnie Lee, and Rasie; and two brothers, Clinton and Willie He was preceded in death by his father, mother, two brothers and a sister. Funeral services will be held at the ALL FAITHS FUNERAL CHAPEL, 4058 Lien Rd., on Saturday, March 22, 2008 at 11 A.M. with burial to follow in Middleton Junction Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home on Saturday from 10 A.M. until the time of service.
