Craig James Raether

MAZOMANIE - Craig James Raether, age 41, went home peacefully on Sunday, May 27, 2007. He was born on May 5, 1966, to Larry and Patricia Raether. Family, friends and riding his motorcycle were the center of Craig's life. Craig believed in enjoying the present rather than waiting for the future to enjoy life and lived each day to the fullest, like it was his last. Craig was an admirable man who was honest with others and with himself. He received gratefully and gave quietly. He was gentle enough to feel and strong enough to show his feelings. He was slow to see the faults of others, but quick to discover their goodness. He was cheerful in difficult times and modest in his success. He did his best to be true to his beliefs, that's what made Craig truly an admirable man. He his survived by his father and mother, Larry and Patricia Raether of Clearwater, Fla.; his sister, Susan Booth of Tampa, Fla. and Sabrina and Jackie Booth, also of Tampa, Fla.; his special cousin, Mellisa; many aunts, uncles, cousins and countless number of friends. He was preceded in death by grandma, Ella. If you must bury something, let it be my faults, my weakness and all my prejudice against my fellow men. Give my soul to God, if by chance you wish to remember me do it with a kind deed or a word to someone who needs you. If you do all I have asked, I shall live forever.
