Cinda L. Matney

MADISON - Cinda Cindy Matney, age 59, died unexpectedly in her home on Thursday, November 13, 2014. She was born on March 26, 1955, in Marshfield, the daughter of Virgil Wilder and Geraldine Eckes. She grew up in the Cassville area and later moved to Madison. Cindy loved to crochet and spend time with her cat. She was always eager to help out a friend in need. She was such a caring and compassionate person. Her career in retail allowed her to meet many new friends. She is survived by her son Justin (Melanie) Matney of Waunakee; one sister, Linda Bausch of Prairie du Chien; four brothers, Ken Wilder of Burlington, Dennis Wilder of Madison, Mark Wilder of Florida, and Keith Wilder of Madison; and close friend Peter Riesop of Waterloo. She was preceded in death by her husband, Bernard Matney and her parents Geraldine (Eckes) and Virgil Wilder. A memorial service will be held at a later date in Cassville.
