SUN PRAIRIE Chris Allan Raimond, died unexpectedly on Wednesday, June 25, 2014 at the age of 56. Chris died of complications of leukemia. He battled the disease for a long time, but he was determined to beat this disease. He was born on May 22, 1958 to John and Delores Raimond. He graduated from Stoughton High School in 1976. Chris was a very private person and it was difficult for him to share his feelings with others. His greatest joy was when he was able in January 2014 to return to his job at the UW Medical Foundation as a courier. Chris spent his spare time working on old cars, trucks and boats. His friends state that he was a great mechanic. He was always willing to share his talents with anyone who needed help. The family wishes to thank Chris close friends, Ken, Bill and Scot for being there for Chris during the ups and downs of his battle. We also wish to thank Dr. Walter Logo and his staff. Chris had great respect for the staff that cared for him. Chris leaves behind two sisters, Linda (Bill) and Diana (Ed); a brother, John (Fran), and his step-mother, Pat; five nieces, Andrea, Jamie (Tim), Lisa, Karlie and Ashley; two nephews, Jaedon and Parker.
