DEFOREST, WIS. Charles W. Wilson, age 82 of DeForest, passed away on Tuesday, Aug. 11, 2015 at Faith Gardens Memory Care in Sun Prairie. Charles was born Nov. 17, 1932 in Richland County, the son of Charles T. and Thelma (Collins) Wilson. He proudly served his country in the U.S. Navy. He enjoyed fishing, traveling, hunting, photography, cooking and gardening. He worked for many years at GM retiring in October of 1991 When Charles wasnt working at GM, he worked for Don Kildow Construction. Following his retirement from GM, Charles and Sharon moved to Mountain Home, Ark., where they would call home for 20 years. In 2013 they returned to Wisconsin. Charles is survived by his wife, Sharon A. Marie-Wilson; nine children, Jackie (Bob) Monroe, Debra (Jeffry) Howard, Tom (Mia) Wilson, William Wilson, Jill (Dave) Frazer, Robert Wilson, Julie (Dave) Haag, Sherry (Robert) Catacutan, and Victoria (Mike) Flynn; a step-daughter, Diana Kiesling; 18 grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren; sisters, Aramita (Duane) Adams, Karen Powell and Laurie Wilson; and brothers, Dennis Wilson and Stanley (Mary Lou) Wilson. One good friend Joe Popanz and dog Trixie He was preceded in death by his parents; a sister, June Riek, brothers-in-law, Jerry Riek and Clinton Powell; step-daughter, Dawn Kuykendall; and a grandson, Joshua Frazer.
