Carol R. Lottes

MADISON - Carol R. Lottes, age 87, died on February 4, 2014 surrounded by her family at Agrace Hospice. Everyone who knew Carol appreciated her gentle kindness, sense of humor and passion for spending time with the people she loved at the lake, in church, at work. Carol was born and raised on a dairy farm with nine siblings in Colfax, Wisconsin where her commitment to hard work, family and faith were surely cemented. Her tender, loyal love for Bob began in the early 50’s and persevered for nearly 40 years. They built a great life together, with Carol’s dearest loves being her sons and grandsons. Carol is survived by her sons Jeff, Greg (Marty) and Eric (Diane); grandson’s Christopher (Heidi), Sam and Zach; and other extended family, including Donna Lottes as well as those in Wisconsin, Alaska, Arizona and beyond. It was a good life and she was gracious and beautiful to the end. A memorial service will be held at BETHEL LUTHERAN CHURCH, 312 Wisconsin Ave., Madison on Monday, February 10, 2014 beginning at 11 a.m. In lieu of flowers memorials can be made to Bethel Horizons.
