Carol Jean Bergman

Carol Jean Bergman, age 79, of Reedsburg, formally of Loganville, Wisconsin, passed away on February 8th 2024 at Agrace Hospice Center in Janesville.

Carol was born on August 17th 1944 in Richland Center, Wisconsin; the daughter of Clyde and Vera (Armbruster) Spencer.

On September 26th 1970 she was united in marriage to Evan Vernon Bergman at St. Peter’s Church in Loganville, Wisconsin. This marriage was blessed with one son Gregory.

Carol was a graduate of Richland Center High School. She enjoyed canning, taking drives in the country side with Evan to check on the bee hives, and spending time with her family. When you went to visit her you would often hear music playing and there was always coffee ready to drink. Her two favorite singers were John Denver (Country Roads), which was often on repeat, and Elvis.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her sister, Shirley Durst of Hillpoint, Wisconsin; her son, Donnie; her grandson, Chad; and the love of her life Evan on February 18th 2007.

Carol is survived by her son Gregory (Becky) of Hillpoint, Wisconsin; her grandsons: Jonathan of Hillpoint, Wisconsin and Jared (Sara) of North Freedom, Wisconsin; and her great granddaughters: Rylee and Morgan. She is further survived by her daughter, Tammy (Jeff) Hollen and granddaughter, Brianna of Manitowoc, Wisconsin. As well as sisters: Sondra (Virgil) Mueller and Patty (Lynn) Wallace of Ithaca, Wisconsin, and other relatives and friends.
