Brett Irmen

MADISON- Brett Irmen 42, of Madison WI, lost his long battle with alcoholism on Thursday, July 19, 2007. Brett was born January 18, 1965 in Blue Island, Illinois. Brett was an avid Chicago Bears fan. He was even known to drop a buck or two on a game. Brett’s 20 plus year career as a Chef took him from the Hilton in Nashville Tennessee, to Lake Lawn Lodge in Delavan, WI and several Madison area eateries. Brett is survived by his very special sister Holly Trummer, his brother Barry (Lori) Irmen, his ‘best buddy’ nephew Nicholas Irmen, and his sister LuAnne (Mike) Jones. He is further survived by many other relatives and friends. Brett was preceded in death by his father Gene and mother Jan. Thank God he is warm, he is at peace, and he is with Mom and Dad. We’ve always loved you Brett. A special thanks to everyone at Housing Initiatives, Inc., and Tellurian. In lieu of flowers the family asks that memorials be made to Housing Initiatives Inc., 1110 Ruskin St., Madison, WI 53704. A private family service will be held.
