Gardow, Bradley A. “Scruff”, age 42 of Arcadia, died unexpectedly of a heart attack on Friday, February 1, 2008 in Eau Claire. He was born July 21, 1965 in Eau Claire to Loyde and Evelyn (nee Miles) Gardow and resided in Eau Claire for most of his life. A 1983 graduate of Memorial High School, Brad continued his education at Chippewa Valley Technical College and become an electrician, a trade he has practiced for 17 years. He has been employed most recently for Vieth Electric. On July 8, 2006, he married Deann Culpitt at Epiphany Lutheran Church in Eau Claire. “Scruff” loved football, NASCAR, bowling, fishing, golf, playing pool and enjoyed going to Packer games and races as well as watching them on TV. Brad was a wonderful son, husband, father, brother, uncle and friend who will be missed by all who knew him. Survivors include his wife Deann, son Ryan and a child due in July; step-daughters: Jessica and Samantha Culpitt all of Arcadia, WI; his parents: Loyde and Evelyn Gardow of Eau Claire, WI; two brothers: Brian (Lori) Gardow of New Prague, MN and Keith (Terri) Gardow of Eau Claire; a sister: LuAnn (Jerry) Schlough of Menomonie, WI; many nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles and countless friends. He was preceded in death by his grandparents, several aunts and uncles and a niece. Funeral Services will be held Friday, February 8, 2008 at 5:00 PM at Epiphany Lutheran Church, 3031 Epiphany Lane, Eau Claire with Rev. Russell Kampfer officiating. Private interment will be held. Friends may call on Thursday, February 7th, at the church, from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM and again on Friday, from 4:00 PM until the time of services.
