Bonnie Lee Yaekel

PARK FALLS - Bonnie L. Yaekel, age 67, of Park Falls and formerly of Madison, passed away on Sunday, Jan. 1, 2012, at St. Mary's Hospital in Madison. She was born Aug. 13, 1944, the daughter of Robert and Genevieve Hammersley. She married William Yaekel on Feb. 16, 1963. Bonnie was a crossing guard in Madison for a number of years and later worked at Bergmann's Pharmacy. She loved to fish and enjoyed her retirement to Park Falls. She is survived by her husband, Bill; a son, Bill (Carla) Yaekel of Sun Prairie; a daughter, Brenda (Rick Jerroll) Yaekel of Park Falls; two grandchildren, Tyler and Jessi Yaekel; a sister, Ruth Ann (Harold) Dahl of Rio; and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents; and a granddaughter, Lindsay. Services will be held at ALL FAITHS FUNERAL CHAPEL, 4058 Lien Road, Madison on Friday, Jan. 6, 2012, beginning at 5 p.m. Visitation will be held at the funeral home on Friday from 4 p.m. until the time of service.
